The Anker Roav Bolt Unboxing/Cover By Shazil Butt
Hey, it’s another day, another unboxing, and today I have the Rove bolt by the anchor. This is an interesting device.
It basically just looks like a, you know, a cigaret lighter USP charger adapter.
But it does add a lot more functionality. It’s basically like putting a Google home mini in your car. So this is really nicely suited for older cars. It does work on newer cars, but really adds a whole bunch of functionality.
It supports Google Assistant, of course. There is a button on the front. And some lights.
There’s a 3.5-millimeter audio output. So you can connect that to an ox jack. If your steward does not have Bluetooth, it pairs you with your cereal via Bluetooth.
And the way it becomes a Google home mini is by connecting to the phone well via Bluetooth, regardless of you connect to the car via Bluetooth over a 3.5 millimeter. So it basically stands in between ads, far Farfield microphone a basically an always-on Google assistant button and some LCD to show you kind of that it’s responding.
And of course, 2 high-speed USP type A Chargers all in 150$ package is a pretty interesting device.
As soon I found out this existed, I really wanted to try to I have many older vehicles that I could really benefit from this. So I’m going camping this weekend with one of those cars and I’m going to try it out and let you know what I think when I get back.
So this is pretty cool. Let’s take it out of the box and check it out, shall we? So this is basically what the box looks like.
Rove, Bolt. And here is some of the stuff it does. You know, you can tell it to navigate on basic. It’s just like a Google home mini. You’re going to say you can do this with your phone and a phone mount. Yes, but this doesn’t give you an instant button.
It doesn’t give you far-field microphones. It doesn’t give you charging at the same time, which is really nice. So it solves a bunch of problems basically by being kind of a smart USP charger slash microphone adapter for your old car.
All right, here we go. Dunton at home there is a magnetic latch here.
Here it is shown in a car connected via Bluetooth, presumably, it doesn’t have the 3.5 millimeters connected.
I’m just going to rotate this like that so we can have a look. So first things first and some instructions. Discover the Google assistant for your car. Woo! And there’s some stuff in here. Let’s see. We’ve got some documentation.
No, this does look like it does look like some printed road bolt PRERELEASE setup. I get this is a review device. So it. So maybe this is not final documentation. Then we’ve got the actual device itself, the road ball right here.
So you can see, it’s not that much bigger arch, a little bigger, bigger around than maybe some of the anchor USP charging adapters for your car.
So, you know, this goes into your cigarette lighter or twelvefold socket. Here are your two USP ports. Here’s your 3.5-millimeter output that you either use to connect your studio or you can pair this device with the hysteria over Bluetooth.
And then here you get the 2 Far-field microphones.
The Google Assistant button, and you can’t see them. But there’s a role for LCD here light green when you’re in a call, white when it’s listening, etc. So very similar to the four LCDs on a Google home mini.
So that’s the lay of the land. Now, let’s have a quick look at the rest of the box.
As you can see here, it walks you through all the different things, right? And then it does come with a 3.5-millimeter cable, which is nested in here.
There we go. So that’s cool that they include a 3.5 millimeter, Jack, because, for me, that’s how I’m going to use it when I go camping with my old Volkswagen Camper van. So you get a nice. Oh, cool.
It’s got one side angled and one end straight so you can kind of optimize whichever works best for you. So that’s it for the box.
I mean, a really fancy box, considering is just foam pieces, nothing else in here.
So that’s it. Not too much to talk about here. Just the anchor Rove Bolt Hole Mini for your car solves a whole bunch of problems giving you high-quality microphones for fast GSB charging type A and connects either ivory tooth or via.
3.5 millimeters. So stay tuned for more articles.
That’s where you’ll hear most of the kinds of reviews of these devices once I’ve played with them.
