The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8cx Review/Cover By Shazil Butt
Hey, And I’m a complete text 2019 at the Qualcomm demo area. I’m gonna shoot some videos of some of the stuff that’s happening here. The big news is Qualcomm is pairing up with no boy again to make a Snapdragon 8, 6 based windows, a laptop. But this one will have 5G.
So it’ll have millimeter-wave and subsects capabilities and it will be launched at some point later this year.
But in addition to that, we got a chance to experience some of the performance and benchmark sides of the ATC chip.
I’ve been using a Lenovo Snapdragon 850 base windows on an ALM laptop. And, you know, with optimized software, the experience is really great. Even emulated software runs well.
But what we’re seeing here today is some really exciting performance benchmarks that should give you an idea of where things are headed with windows on arm. So let’s check it out together.
This is Qualcomm’s 80-6 platform, the arm-based Windows 10 platform. The latest one running on 240 monitors with 10 DPN. Here’s an interesting little thing going on. Chromium version of Edge Optimized for ALM 64 running here.
As you can see in this little video playing here that shows basically the performance difference between our core 5 P, C, and the AC X running a bunch of tests at the same time. And I want to share that with you because I think it’s really telling where we’re headed in the P.C. world, because I think ARM is going to change things.
So you can see, the top is the ATX running a bunch of benchmarks. P.S. Mark, 10 site benchmarks. And the bottom, you get the quarry five.
And you can see, the ATX finished just about a minute ahead. This is obviously time lapsed.
And there you go. So this is unity running on this eight six platform here.
This is the Unity Arm 64 version. Basically, the latest version of the agent is not the date of 64. And you’ll see just this is kind of one of their sample, their samples. You see the frame rates. And just so Tony P correct on this one. This is my estimate.
So this was many of design. Those that’s a Qualcomm design. This is a.
So this is you said it’s X with X 55. This is the same 6-millimeter wave. Both eyes get lost. Can you do something with it?
See the device connected. It will 5G if you like. Really look. It’s going to be there.
And it is streaming a video from YouTube over 5G, real 5G.
Some 6-millimeter wave. This is up to 6. Is waiting to take things. This isn’t through. This isn’t a commercial network. It’s connecting to a box because there is no commercial yet.
When you deploy 5G, it’s. And they don’t like it’s transmitting. Can we run a speed test? No.
Yes. They couldn’t obviously do a speed test because this is not a live network. This is a complete demo. But I hope you like this quick look at the Snapdragon ATX platform and that you stay tuned for more article.
